About Me

For 40 years she taught English Language Arts, Technology, and Digital/Information Literacy to students
in grades 6-12 which included several
years as a Library Media Specialist.

Lisa Luciano’s work as a television director/producer won national recognition for excellence in educational programming.
She is the author of a non-fiction book about
using technology in the classroom and had a
documentary script produced. Her first novel,
The Chosen Ones, was published in 2020. Her
latest book, Generation LOST - Learning,
Leveraging, and Living Lessons for a
Successful Life was released in 2021.
That book as well as her non-fiction pieces have won numerous awards and she is listed in the Contemporary Authors reference series as well as the Marquis Who’s Who.
A childhood dream of being a sports reporter was fulfilled when she covered figure skating for the New York Times from 1991-1994.
Born and raised in New York, she now resides
in Connecticut. Her passion (besides writing)
is martial arts. She is a 4th Dan black belt
Tae Kwon Do Master/Instructor as well as a
black belt in Hapkido.
